The Gothic cathedral on the Rhine, recreated in 12,097 pieces and 80.5 cm tall. Two black openwork spires crown the west front above pointed-arch doorways, while flying buttresses and pinnacles line the nave, the transept and the apse around the choir. Custom pointed-arch window parts and printed stained-glass pieces fill the walls. The model is built in modular sections that lift apart, so the towers and the nave come away to show the structure inside, on a display base of 66 x 40 cm.
