A military turboshaft — the engine type that powers the largest transport helicopters flying — rebuilt in 1,324 pieces across 36 cm. The electric motor comes included, driving the compressor and turbine stages so the whole assembly spins as a real turboshaft does: air in at the intake, power out through the shaft. Exposed stage work and accessory drives keep the mechanism visible from every side.
